Directions
- Wash, peel, and cut the pork cheek into small pieces. Then, sauté it in melted butter. ≈ 8 min
- Once the meat is cooked, add the chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Also, add a tablespoon of chicken broth.
- Continue cooking until the meat is nicely browned and the mixture has thickened slightly.
- Add the eggs one at a time, while whisking, and make sure to mix well after each addition. ≈ 3 min
- Once the dough is smooth and well-coated, let it rest for a few minutes.
- On a floured work surface, form small balls of dough. Flatten each ball with the palm of your hand to create discs. ≈ 10 min
- Fry the pogačice in hot oil until they are golden brown.
- Serve hot. ≈ 2 min
