Directions
- Add the yeast to a mixing bowl. ≈ 4 min
- Melt the butter in a saucepan.
- Add the milk and heat until it reaches a temperature of approximately 37 °C (body temperature).
- Pour, in a bowl, the flour and water mixture over the yeast. ≈ 3 min
- Mix well to ensure the yeast dissolves. ≈ 4 min
- Add fresh cheese (Kesella), cinnamon, sugar, salt, and most of the flour. ≈ 3 min
- Mix the dough until it becomes smooth and glossy, and easily releases from the sides of the bowl. ≈ 4 min
- You may optionally add a little more flour. ≈ 3 min
- Allow to air dry for approximately 30 minutes.
- Prepare the dough for the cinnamon cookies. ≈ 3 min
- Place them on greased baking sheets or parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- Let it rise for 20 to 30 minutes (without covering).
- Decorated with pearls or sugar pearls. ≈ 3 min
- Coat with a mixture of beaten eggs. ≈ 4 min
- Bake in the oven, in the center, for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Let it cool on a wire rack.
