Filbunke is a traditional Swedish fermented milk product. It is made with only two ingredients: milk and sour cream. The warm milk is poured over the sour cream, and then the mixture is left to develop at room temperature before being chilled.

Directions

  1. Heat the milk almost to a boil, then allow it to cool to 37 °C.
  2. Pour each of the 4 bowls, pour in 25 ml of sour cream. ≈ 3 min
  3. Pour the warm milk over the sour cream and mix well. ≈ 4 min
  4. Allow to come to room temperature, then refrigerate before serving.

  • 100 ml of sour cream (1 dl)
