Directions
- Mix the semolina and bean puree in equal parts. ≈ 4 min
- Add water gradually until you have a thick paste. The spices can be added to the paste, but are especially important in the breading. ≈ 3 min
- Sauté the onion in a little oil and add it to the dough, along with the corn, bell pepper, mushrooms, or soy sauce, according to your preference.
- Mix the breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, and spices in a bowl, reserving some for later. ≈ 4 min
- Place the dough in flat patties on a baking sheet lined with breadcrumbs, then sprinkle the remaining breadcrumbs over the patties to fully coat them. ≈ 2 min
- Gently slide them onto a large spatula and cook them in a hot frying pan with a small amount of oil, moving them around to ensure they brown evenly without becoming greasy.
