Directions
- Remove the outer layer of the watermelon rind. ≈ 3 min
- Cut it into small pieces, cubes, or sticks, depending on your preference. ≈ 8 min
- Boil them gently in the water.
- Drain them. ≈ 2 min
- Place the peels in the syrup. ≈ 3 min
- Cook until they become translucent.
- Add the citric acid just before the end of the cooking time. ≈ 3 min
