Directions
- Mix the yeast with a little milk until you have a smooth paste. Melt the butter in the remaining milk and add it to the yeast mixture. ≈ 4 min
- Add cane sugar, salt, and an egg, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Mix flour and grape (raisins) with the milk mixture, knead thoroughly for 5 to 10 minutes, then cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
- Next, knead the dough again thoroughly. Shape it into a ball or a loaf, place it on a griddle covered with parchment paper, or pour it into a loaf pan (depending on your preference), and brush with an egg and milk mixture (mix one egg with two tablespoons of milk). Then, let it rise again for 15 minutes.
- Bake at 180 °C for approximately 40 minutes.
