Directions
- Prepare the filling by mixing the chopped onions, olive oil, lemon juice, walnuts, breadcrumbs, chili pepper, parsley, and dill, tomato puree, and salt. Then, stuff the mackerel with the mixture. ≈ 10 min
- Lightly flour each filled mackerel, shaking gently to remove any excess flour. ≈ 10 min
- Pour the oil paint into a pan and heat it over medium heat, but do not let it smoke.
- Dip the floured fish in the beaten eggs, then in the breadcrumbs, and fry them in batches in hot oil.
- Drain the fried fish and place it in a serving dish. ≈ 2 min
