- Soak the split peas in salted water. ≈ 3 min
- Bring to a boil
- Cook for approximately 60 minutes
- Blend the soup in a food processor or blender. ≈ 4 min
- Serve hot, with bread croutons. ≈ 2 min

- Place the split peas in water without salt. ≈ 3 min
