This spicy fondue is perfect for winter evenings with friends. It’s delicious and warm, with a hint of spice that makes it irresistible.

Directions

  1. In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onion and garlic until they become translucent.
  2. Add the peppers and let them cook over low heat for about 6 minutes.
  3. Pour the with white wine and add the lemon juice. Mix the grated Gruyère with the Maizena and add it to the wine/pepper mixture. ≈ 4 min
  4. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly until the cheese is fully melted.
  5. Incorporate the grappa and sprinkle with ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, and grated nutmeg. Serve immediately. ≈ 4 min

Before you start

Ingredients

  • 800 g of grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of oil paint
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
  • 1 bell pepper and 1 bell pepper, cut in half, seeded, and chopped
  • 2 red, de-seeded chili peppers, sliced and briefly blanched
  • 3.5 dl of white wine
  • One small glass of grappa
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons of Maizena
  • ground pepper, cayenne pepper, grated nutmeg
