Peach compote with rum
Poached peaches in a sugar syrup, finished with a rum-infused syrup once cooled. Serve with a fresh compote, which should be kept refrigerated.
This dessert takes only a little over half an hour to prepare. The peaches retain their flavor and color thanks to the sugar arranged in layers.
