Directions

  1. Crack the egg and pour it into the blender. ≈ 3 min
  2. Pour the milk into the blender. ≈ 3 min
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk. ≈ 4 min
  4. Gradually add the flour to the mixer, making sure not to form lumps. ≈ 3 min
  5. Blend (using a blender: for about 2 minutes) until you have a smooth paste.
  6. Pour the dough into a bowl and let it rest for about 30 minutes.
  7. Heat a pan over high heat, and lightly grease it with butter or oil paint.
  8. Pour each pan, pour over a generous spoonful or slightly more of the dough, making sure to evenly coat the bottom and avoid any gaps.
  9. Let it rest for 20 to 30 seconds to allow the omelette to firm up, then, using a spatula, gently lift it from the pan and flip it over to the other side [you could try a quick flip, like Patate does, for a fun visual effect].
  10. After about 20 seconds, the omelette is ready and can be placed on a plate. ≈ 3 min
  11. Continue until all the dough is used up. ≈ 3 min
