This traditional Serbian soup features young nettle shoots as a key ingredient. It requires only a short cooking time and is finished with fermented milk, resulting in a creamy texture.

Directions

  1. Finely chop the onion and sauté it in the lard or oil. Add the 300g of fresh, chopped nettles and the flour, then bring everything back together, seasoning to your taste.
  2. Pour 1.5 liters of water, add the fermented milk and stir well. Cook for a maximum of 15 minutes.
