- Mix everything together until you have a smooth, elastic dough. ≈ 4 min
- Cover the mixture with a cloth and leave it in a room where the temperature is around 25 °C (ideally with higher humidity) until it has doubled in volume.
- Take small pieces of dough and shape them into small figures using a knife. ≈ 3 min
- Decorate: use dried grapes or sugar pieces for the eyes, and scattered sugar pieces throughout the body. ≈ 2 min
- To help the sugar adhere better, lightly moisten the dough. ≈ 3 min
- Let it rest at room temperature until it doubles in volume.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 180 °C, until golden brown.
- Enjoy a cold meal with a hot chocolate, as it’s a cold day outside (Saint Nicholas' Day is celebrated on December 6th). ≈ 3 min
