Directions
- Remove the outer leaves from the cabbage and wash them. Cut them into quarters, cover with cold water in a pot, and cook for 8-10 minutes from when it boils. Drain on a sieve. Finely chop the walnuts.
- Melt half of the butter in a pan, add the flour and cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Gradually add the milk and heat until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Grease a gratin dish and place the cabbage inside. Pour over with sauce, then sprinkle with breadcrumbs and chopped walnuts. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
