Directions
- Preheat the oven to 120 °C.
- Grease two frying pans with vegetable oil and cover them with parchment paper. ≈ 3 min
- Book now. ≈ 3 min
- In a small saucepan, combine the sugar and water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens into a very thick syrup.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and crème de tartre with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form. ≈ 4 min
- Carefully pour in the hot syrup while continuously whisking until stiff peaks form. ≈ 3 min
- Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheets. ≈ 3 min
- Gently press the spoon in the center of each meringue to create a well. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in the oven until they are dry and crispy.
- Let it cool.
- Fill the center of the meringue with sweetened cream and decorate with sliced fruits. ≈ 10 min
