Frixuelos are a delicious specialty of the Asturias and León regions in Spain. Traditionally eaten during Carnival and Fat Thursday, this pastry evokes the flavors of the Asturian region.

Directions
- In a bowl, combine the flour, eggs, and salt. ≈ 4 min
- Then, add the milk gradually, while constantly stirring, until you have a smooth, lump-free batter. ≈ 3 min
- Once this is done, grease a pan with butter or oil paint, then pour the dough into it in a single, thin layer, just enough to cover the surface of the pan.
- Cook until golden brown.
- Next, flip the pan over and cook the other side.
- On a plate, place a tablespoon of sugar and pour the first layer of dough on top. ≈ 3 min
- Then, add another tablespoon of sugar and another layer of dough, and so on, until all the dough is used up. ≈ 3 min
