In the coastal regions of Kerala, thorany fish is a very popular dish. This traditional recipe features seer fish (also known as Neymeen), along with spices and grated coconut.

Directions
- Sprinkle the coconut pieces with salt and pepper, then let them sit for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, combine the coconut oil, green chili peppers, black pepper powder, cilantro powder, salt, and gently mix over low heat (without adding any water).
- In a separate container, heat the coconut oil and sauté the onion and ginger until browned.
- Add pieces of fish to the pan with chopped onions, cover, and cook over low heat.
- When preparing the fish, add grilled coconut paste and curry leaf paste to thoroughly combine all the ingredients.
- Once the water has completely evaporated and the bottom of the pot is dry, remove it from the heat. ≈ 3 min
