Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and flour. ≈ 4 min

  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • In a bowl, combine the milk, egg, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and flour. Mix thoroughly until you have a smooth dough.
  • Add the grated margarine, mix well, and form into a ball. Wrap the ball in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for two hours.
  • Next, divide the dough into five portions.
  • Open each one individually, until you have a thin layer.
  • Cut into rectangular shapes (3.5 cm x 3 cm) and wrap in thin strips of guava paste.
  • Place in an oven-safe dish and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
