- Combine the rye flour, water, and salt to form a dough. ≈ 4 min
- Roll out the dough thinly and cut out oval shapes. ≈ 8 min
- Place the rice or mashed potato mixture in the center and bring the edges up. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in the oven, then brush with melted butter.
Rye cheese
- Heat the milk, add the curdling agent, and let it set.
- Pour the mixture into a mold and bake in the oven. ≈ 3 min
- Flip the cheese over to coat both sides with the glaze, then season with salt.
