Directions
- Peel the onions and chop them into slices. ≈ 8 min
- Peel the carrot and cut it into rounds. If you like, add some chopped onions and celery, cut into small cubes or strips. ≈ 8 min
- Place all the ingredients (except the sausages) in a pot, bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 to 30 minutes, just before the liquid boils.
- Taste it. The mixture should be very salty and sour, with a slight sweet note. ≈ 2 min
- Pierce the sausages several times with a skewer or another tool. ≈ 3 min
- Cook the sausages over low heat for about 10 minutes, until they are cooked through.
