Directions
- Sauté the chopped onions in the fat until softened, then add the meat and the spice mixture.
- Finely chop about a quarter of the pepper, half of the celery, 2 carrots, and the parsley, and set aside. ≈ 8 min
- After about 15 minutes, add the tomatoes, tomato paste, peppers, and bread cut into small pieces, along with the broth.
- Let it simmer for 2 hours over low heat, stirring occasionally. After an hour, add the roughly chopped carrots and celery, along with the red wine.
- Once the goulash is ready, remove it from the heat and stir in the finely chopped vegetables that were set aside. ≈ 4 min
