Mild spiced meatloaf
A beef and pork meatloaf, seasoned with cardamom, cumin, and paprika, baked in a water bath in the oven and served cold, sliced.
This meatloaf combines beef, pork, and pork fat, seasoned with cardamom, cumin, and paprika. It is gently cooked in a water bath and can be sliced neatly once it has cooled. It is ideal served with a salad or pickles.

Directions
- Combine all the ingredients, except for the ground pork fat. ≈ 4 min
- Stir well, then let it cool in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Blend in a food processor until you have a smooth paste. ≈ 4 min
- Incorporate the pork fat. ≈ 4 min
- Pour: Pour, pour a greased loaf pan. ≈ 3 min
- Bake in a water bath in the oven at 180 °C for 1 to 1.5 hours.
- Let it cool completely before turning out and slicing.
