Directions
- Mix the fresh yeast with a little warm water in a glass, then add the salt, about one teaspoon. ≈ 4 min
- Pour this mixture, pour it into the well made in the center of the flour. Gradually add the 1/4 liter of water, mixing gently until you have a smooth, round dough. ≈ 4 min
- Clean the table and spread a little flour on it. Place the round dough on the surface and work it back and forth until it is smooth. Divide it into eight pieces and shape them as you like: long, round, etc. ≈ 10 min
- Place the dough on a baking sheet, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven. Brush the top of the dough with a little water or beaten egg if you want a shiny crust, then bake at 190 °C for about 15 minutes.
- You can also mix the dough with walnuts, grapes, chorizo, bacon, or black olives, depending on your preferences. ≈ 4 min
