This white bread is made without kneading, simply by scooping the batter. Baked on a baking sheet, it comes out of the oven soft and pairs well with all kinds of dishes.

Directions

  1. Heat the water to 37 °C, pour it into a large mixing bowl, and dissolve the yeast in it. Add the olive oil and salt, then the flour. Knead the dough with a spoon until it is smooth and elastic. Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 1 hour.
  2. Re-knead the dough with your hands for one minute, then transfer it to a lightly oiled 25 x 35 cm baking dish. Let it rise for 20 minutes, uncovered.
  3. Place in the center of the preheated oven at 225 °C and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
