  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking. ≈ 2 min

  6. For a simple method, spread the dough into a circular shape, then fill it. ≈ 3 min
  7. The traditional method involves forming a dough in the shape of an inverted “U”, with a space in the center where the filling is placed, and then closing the dough. ≈ 3 min

Ingredients

  • First, sauté the fermented vegetables (such as fermented soybeans) until they are slightly softened. (The step of cooking the fermented vegetables can be omitted: cooking the fermented vegetables makes them more flavorful, and adding fermented vegetables to the dough helps to enhance their taste)
  • Once the mixture is prepared, take a small portion and heat it in the microwave for 1 to 2 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking.
  • During cooking, it is important to stir frequently to prevent it from burning.
  • If a small amount of soot is present, it can be carefully removed with a knife.
  • Next, we mix the dough, shape it, and roll it out with a rolling pin. We then bake it in a pan over low heat, turning it constantly, until the dough rises. For a simple method, we roll the dough into a circular shape and then fill it. The traditional method involves forming a “U” shape with the dough, leaving a space in the center where the filling is placed, and then closing the dough. Beginners can easily make a dough with a small amount of filling and a thick crust.
