Directions
- In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, water, salt, and pepper. Let it sit, preferably overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 175 °C (350 °F). Use a 23 x 30 cm (9 x 15 inch) dish and pour enough oil paint into it to cover the bottom. Heat the dish in the oven.
- Spread the warm oil paint evenly over the sides of the dish using a brush or by tilting the container. Mix the paste, then immediately pour it into the warm dish and return it to the oven for about 1 hour, or until it has set in the center.
- Let it rest for a while.
