Manhattan clam chowder is a hearty soup, featuring smoked bacon, onion, and tomato. Potatoes and cooked clams simmer in a creamy broth, which is then finished with a touch of cream before serving.

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the bacon.
  2. Add the onion and the tomato. ≈ 3 min
  3. Cook for 3 minutes.
  4. Pour the soup. ≈ 3 min
  5. Bring to a boil, then add the potatoes and mussels.
  6. Cook until the root vegetables are tender.
  7. Season to taste. ≈ 2 min
  8. Add the cream. ≈ 4 min
  9. Warm up slightly.
  10. Serve immediately. ≈ 2 min

  • 2 cups of creamy soup
  • 100 g of chopped apples

  • ½ cup of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of white pepper
  • 60 ml of cream
