Directions
- Work the butter until it becomes a smooth paste. ≈ 3 min
- Dissolve the yeast in a small amount of water. ≈ 4 min
- Place all the ingredients in the mixing bowl, except for the butter and flour, and mix at a low speed for 5 minutes.
- Next, knead for 8 minutes at a high speed.
- After 8 minutes, add the butter, which has been softened at room temperature.
- Re-knead for 5 minutes at a high speed.
- Pour the dough into a container covered with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Shape into a baguette form, or place the dough in a brioche bread pan. ≈ 3 min
- Let it rise until the dough has doubled in size.
- Bake in an oven at 220 °C (thermostat 8) for 25 to 35 minutes.
- Let it cool completely before enjoying it for breakfast or as a snack.
