Directions
- Peel the onion and chop it into thin slices. Heat the oil in a pan and add the onion, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the shrimp paste, turmeric, sambal oelek, and pressed garlic. Mix until the onion is well coated. ≈ 4 min
- Peel the apples, cut them into pieces, and place them in the saucepan. ≈ 8 min
- Add the coconut milk, salt, and cilantro, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Rinse the bamboo shoots. Remove the seeds from the chili pepper and chop it, then cut the green beans into pieces. ≈ 8 min
- Add the pepper, bamboo shoots, cabbage, and beans, then simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.
- Serve with jasmine rice. ≈ 2 min
