Directions
- 1- Dissolve the rose jelly in a small amount of cold water and let it rest for a few minutes to ensure the jelly is fully dissolved. If the jelly is homemade, replace the water with milk several times to achieve the desired flavor.
- Add 3 cups of milk to the jelly and mix until a smooth paste is formed. Strain the paste and place it in a suitable container. ≈ 4 min
- Dissolve the rice flour in the milk, filter, and add to the jelly mixture. Mix thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Place the mixture on a low heat and stir until it thickens and forms a thin layer on the back of a spoon. Then add the sugar and rose glaze, mixing until you reach the desired consistency. Finally, add the hazelnut powder and continue to stir. ≈ 4 min
- Allow the cake to cool in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Then, cut into square pieces and arrange them in two rows of the same size for an aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Tip: Don’t immediately put the tarawale in the refrigerator, as it could become watery. Tip: Some recipes reduce the amount of rice and increase the amount of jelly.
- Tip: Allow the cake to cool for at least 2 hours before cutting and serving.
