Directions
- Soak the gelatin sheets in cold water.
- Wash, rinse, and cut the strawberries into small pieces. Peel the banana and slice it. ≈ 8 min
- Add the sugar and lemon juice to the fruit, then blend with a blender or food processor. ≈ 4 min
- Dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of hot water, then mix it with the fruit mixture. ≈ 4 min
- Whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks. Add the rum and gently mix. ≈ 4 min
- Remove one-third of the fruit puree, then gently fold it into the whipped cream. Be careful! It’s important to mix gradually to achieve a creamy texture. ≈ 4 min
- Divide the fruit cream and the remaining fruit puree into layers in four serving glasses. Let it chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours to allow the mousse to set properly.
