Mafane leaves, also known as Reunion leaves, give this puree a slightly spicy flavor. Served hot, it is often enjoyed with meats and fish.

Directions

  1. Peel the apples and cook them in water until they are soft.
  2. Chop the spinach leaves and coarsely chop the garlic. ≈ 8 min
  3. Mash the apples by gradually adding the milk, then incorporate the garlic and greens. ≈ 4 min
  4. Mix until smooth and serve immediately, while still hot. ≈ 4 min
