Tom yum is a very flavorful Thai dish, belonging to the category of soups. This spicy noodle soup is a version adapted for Belgian tastes.

Directions

  1. Thoroughly clean the carp scales, and then dry them. ≈ 8 min
  2. Prepare a pan with very hot oil paint.
  3. Fry the carp until it is nicely golden brown.
  4. Remove it from the pan and set it aside.
  5. Wash the sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, and lemongrass. ≈ 8 min
  6. Chop the lemongrass, slice the ginger into thin pieces, and grind it. ≈ 8 min
  7. Boil some water, then add lemongrass and galangal.
  8. Once the water has come to a boil, add the fried fish, grilled and chopped chili peppers, salt, rice vinegar, mango vinegar, and lemon juice.
  9. Add straw mushrooms and tomatoes. ≈ 3 min
  10. Taste and adjust the seasoning to your liking. ≈ 2 min
  11. Add fresh chili peppers, basil leaves, and mint. ≈ 3 min
  12. Serve. ≈ 2 min
