Directions
- Drain the morning and rinse, then remove the sieve. ≈ 2 min
- Next, wash and peel the vegetables, then cut them in half lengthwise, and then into slices to create a kind of “piyaz” (a traditional Turkish dish). ≈ 8 min
- In a pot, heat the oil and add the vegetables.
- Cook them over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, until they are nicely browned.
- Then, add the green beans and cook them for another minute.
- Next, add the meat broth, salt, and simmer over low heat for 90 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and continue to cook for a few more minutes. ≈ 3 min
- Once the soup is cooked, serve it in bowls. ≈ 2 min
