A Peruvian appetizer ready in 30 minutes: golden garlic cloves in olive oil, anchovies, and yellow chili peppers (ají amarillo), served on toasted bread triangles. It pairs perfectly with pisco.

Directions

  1. Peel the cloves of Allium sativum (garlic) and sauté them in olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. When the garlic is golden brown, allow the oil paint to cool, then add the anchovies and sliced chili peppers.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley. ≈ 2 min
  4. Arrange the mixture in a dish, surrounded by triangles of toasted bread.

  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 yellow hot pepper (ají amarillo)
  • A pinch of salt
  • pepper
  • One handful of parsley
  • 8 slices of toasted bread
  • pisco, to accompany
