Directions
- Wash the grapes and the Zante currants. ≈ 2 min
- Pour the flour into a mixing bowl. ≈ 3 min
- Dig a hole in the center and crack the eggs into it. ≈ 3 min
- Add the milk and knead the mixture. ≈ 10 min
- Add the butter, Zante currants, grapes, sugar, and lemon zest, then mix well. ≈ 4 min
- Grease the poffert mold and sprinkle it with breadcrumbs. ≈ 3 min
- Pour the batter into the mold and close it with the lid. ≈ 3 min
- Place the mold in a large pot filled with hot water. Bring to a boil over heat (add more water if needed) and cook the poffert for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Flip the poffert and cut it into slices. ≈ 8 min
- Serve with melted butter and brown sugar. ≈ 2 min
