Directions

  1. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it softens.
  2. Grease and flour the baking pan. ≈ 3 min
  3. Preheat the oven to 160 °C.
  4. Place the butter in softened form in a mixing bowl and add the sugar. ≈ 3 min
  5. Mix with a spatula or whisk; the butter should be very soft. ≈ 4 min
  6. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. ≈ 3 min
  7. Add the flour and yeast, then mix again. ≈ 4 min
  8. Spread the dough evenly over the bottom of the pan. ≈ 3 min
  9. Tap the baking tin against the countertop to even out the dough. ≈ 3 min
  10. Peel the apples, cut them in half, remove the core, and slice them. ≈ 8 min
  11. Arrange the apples around the entire circumference, starting from the outside. ≈ 3 min
  12. Once the mold is completely filled, sprinkle a little sugar on top. ≈ 3 min
  13. Bake.
  14. Bake for approximately 30 minutes; the pie is done when a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
  15. Take the pie out of the oven and let it cool.
  16. Thin the jam with a little warm water until it reaches a sauce-like consistency. ≈ 4 min
  17. Spread this sauce over the apples. ≈ 4 min
