Directions
- Soak the plums in 2 liters of cold water with a pinch of salt for 24 hours.
- Peel and chop the plums into pieces, then cook them with water, lemon zest, and cinnamon over low heat for about 1 hour.
- Next, add the sugar, lemon juice, and grapes. Let the mixture simmer for another 30 minutes.
- Add the berry juice just before serving, remove the lemon peel and cinnamon, and serve the compote warm or cold.
