Directions
- Cut the meat into thin strips (if you are using ground meat, you can skip this step), marinate it, add the pepper, and form small meatballs, in the desired number of portions. ≈ 8 min
- Peel the apples and the onion, wrap them in a dishcloth, and squeeze to extract all the liquid. ≈ 8 min
- Combine the flour, apples, and onion. ≈ 4 min
- Create large “balls” about the size of a tennis ball, and use a finger to create a cavity in each ball, into which you place a small portion of ground meat. ≈ 10 min
- Close the opening and seal it. ≈ 3 min
- Bring the water to a boil, add the salt, and then place the apples in the water, making sure they don’t stick to the bottom of the pot.
- Let it simmer for about an hour.
- Season with melted butter. ≈ 2 min
