Directions
- After soaking the fish, we will drain it and cut it into evenly sized pieces.
- We will squeeze them with a dishcloth, sprinkle them with flour, and then fry them in a small amount of hot oil paint.
- Once they are cooked, we will set them aside. ≈ 3 min
- We will soak the apples in water for 2 hours.
- We will boil the apples for about 2 minutes, then let them cool and cut them into four pieces to remove the seeds.
- Finally, we will cut them into small dice. ≈ 3 min
- In a clay pot, heated with the remaining oil paint, finely chop the peeled onion until it begins to brown.
- Next, add the chopped and cleaned tomatoes, and let them cook until they soften slightly.
- So, let’s add the well-drained pasta and the walnuts, and cook everything together.
- Finally, pour over some broth made with spices and very hot water, along with a pinch of pepper (about 10 minutes).
- While the sauce is simmering, finely chop the bread and almonds in a mortar with a little of the sauce, then mix them with the sauce and simmer for a few more minutes.
- Next, filter the mixture through a fine sieve. ≈ 3 min
- Return everything to the pot, add the cod and apple pieces, and let it simmer again.
- Check the seasoning and remove from the heat. ≈ 2 min
- If you wish, you can add finely chopped onions, which can be removed if you don’t like them. ≈ 3 min
- We will cook the salmon in the same pot.
