Medeno srce, Serbian eggless cinnamon jam cake
A Serbian cake without eggs or fat: flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda, water, and jam, baked on a baking sheet, topped with jam and then with a chocolat…
It’s called “honey heart” because it resembles the gingerbread hearts sold in Serbia, although it doesn’t contain honey. Its preparation is similar to the American crazy cake, but its taste is dominated by cinnamon.
