Directions
- Soak the rice in salted water for 2 to 5 hours. You can also soak it overnight.
- Rinse and drain the beans, then cook them in 1 liter of lightly salted water, using just enough water so that there is almost none left at the end of cooking. Add more water if needed during cooking. Allow at least an hour for the beans to become tender, depending on the variety: adjust the cooking time accordingly.
