Directions
- Boil some water in a pot and add the lentils and potatoes.
- Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
- While you’re doing that, finely chop the onion in a large bowl, big enough to hold all the ingredients. ≈ 8 min
- Add the juice of garlic to the bowl and mix it with the sambal oelek. ≈ 4 min
- Once the lentils are cooked, drain them and the potato, then add the lentils to the onion. ≈ 2 min
- Rinse the potatoes under cold water to remove any dirt, then roughly chop them and add them to the other ingredients. ≈ 8 min
- Combine everything and let it cool slightly, then add the beaten eggs and mix well.
- Salt, pepper, and add as many breadcrumbs as needed to achieve a firm consistency. ≈ 2 min
- Create small pancakes using the mixture, about 1 cm thick and with a diameter of 5 cm, and cook them over medium heat in a pan.
