Laksan is a dish from Palembang made with rice flour and fish. It has an oval shape and resembles pempek, but it is served with a coconut milk sauce.

Directions
- Combine the ground fish with the couscous and salted water until you have a paste that can be shaped. ≈ 10 min
- Cook in boiling water until the dough rises to the surface, indicating that it is cooked.
- Drain the excess liquid, then allow it to air dry for a while. ≈ 2 min
- Next, cut the pieces into 0.5 cm thick slices. ≈ 8 min
- Finely chop half of the Allium ascalonicum and fry them.
- Finely chop the cilantro, the remaining Allium ascalonicum, the Allium sativum, and the dried shrimp. ≈ 3 min
- Continue to apply this spice paste to the oil paint until it is completely dry.
- Grate the coconut and prepare 800 ml of thick coconut milk. ≈ 8 min
- Pour the coconut milk into the spices and bring to a boil.
- Add the laksa slices and cook for another short period.
