Directions
- Cook the jengkol seeds in water until they are tender.
- Grate the coconut and extract 1.2 liters of coconut milk. ≈ 8 min
- Finely grind all the spices, except for the lemongrass and the turmeric leaf. ≈ 3 min
- Pour the coconut milk, spice paste, lemongrass, turmeric leaf, and small fish into a pot, then bring to a boil.
- Add the jengkol seeds and cook until the oil rises to the surface.
