The iced tea “Ban Lan” is an original creation that combines the flavors of banana blossom, typical of Southeast Asia, with the tradition of “teh kway” from the Hakka people of the region. It brings together different culinary cultures.

Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the sticky rice flour and regular flour, then add the salt and sugar. ≈ 4 min
- Add the oil paint to a large bowl, then mix thoroughly with a large wooden spoon. ≈ 4 min
- Place the banana leaves in a pot of boiling water.
- Cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until the water turns a pale yellow color.
- Add 100 ml of orchid flower water to the large pot, then mix thoroughly with a large wooden spoon. ≈ 4 min
- Take a small amount of powder, and form a ball of dough, using the rest of the powder. ≈ 10 min
- Place the candied fruits in a pot, cook them over high heat for 15 minutes, then finish cooking them.
