Directions
- Pour make a rose infusion, add rose petals to a litre of boiling water and let it steep for 15 minutes.
- Next, add sugar and lemon juice, then cook.
- Soon, the lemon juice will turn red. ≈ 3 min
- The syrup is ready when it thickens enough that a few drops of lemon juice, poured onto a clean spoon, begin to form a gel.
- Remove the foam from the surface of the syrup, cover the pot with a damp dishcloth, and leave it to rest overnight.
