Golok is a traditional Javanese dish made with sticky rice and seafood. For a slightly updated version, we decided to use ikan asin (salted fish) to add flavor to the rice cooked in santan (coconut milk). A delicious treat for the taste buds!

Directions
- Cut one half of a coconut and you’ll get about 10 cl of coconut cream. ≈ 3 min
- Cook the sticky rice for about 15 minutes, until it is almost cooked.
- Using a fork, gently mix the sticky rice with the coconut cream and pepper. Mix thoroughly. ≈ 4 min
- Stir the mixture again for 10 minutes until the rice is fully cooked.
- Make sticky rice balls. ≈ 10 min
- Place the ikan asin in the center of each rice ball. ≈ 10 min
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and fry the glut until they are golden brown.
