Hiking-themed Jakob (a type of sausage), dried chicken, and rice
A camping version of the Swedish dish: dried chicken, basmati rice, dried sausage, and dried banana, to be rehydrated with boiling water in the mountains.
This hiking version of the Swedish meatball dish is prepared in two steps. At home, the chicken is dried and the ingredients are mixed in a bag. On the trail, it’s simply a matter of boiling and letting it rest.
