Directions
- Thoroughly wash and clean the fish, then coat them with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of turmeric, and let them rest for a while.
- Heat a portion of the oil paint (mustard) in a pan, and fry the fish thoroughly. Set aside.
- Combine the mustard seeds with a small amount of water to create a smooth paste. ≈ 4 min
- Add a little more water and then filter the mixture through a sieve. ≈ 3 min
- Heat the remaining oil paint in the pan, then add some whole mustard seeds and green chili peppers.
- Pour in the strained mustard liquid into the pan.
- Add the remaining salt and turmeric. ≈ 3 min
- Once the sauce begins to simmer, add the beaten yogurt and cilantro, and then let it cook for a few minutes.
- Once the sauce has thickened slightly, add the fried fish and let it simmer for a few minutes to allow the mustard to penetrate it.
- At the end of the cooking process, turn off the heat and let it simmer, covered, for a few minutes. ≈ 3 min
